Adenosine deaminase (ADA) estimation for tuberculosis pleural effusion at SVIMS hospital, Tirupati . This laboratory has been providing hospital service for indoor and outdoor patients with pleural effusion, ascites and meningitis since 2005.

Fellowship of FAMS

Dr Alladi Mohan, Professor and Head, Department of Medicine, SVIMS, Tirupati was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS) awarded by the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) (India) by Dr K.K. Talwar, the President of the NAMS and Chairman, Board of Governors, Medical Council of India (MCI), at the convocation held at the 51st Annual Conference of the NAMS, NAMSCON-2011 on 15-10-11 at Bhubaneswar. The Governor of Odisha, His Excellency, Murlidhar C. Bhandare was the Chief Guest for the function. The FAMS is regarded as the highest recognition in the field of biomedical and other health sciences in India. Dr Alladi Mohan is the only physician to receive this prestigious Fellowship from Andhra Pradesh state for the year 2011
